Apple Fritter Strain. also known as “Apple Fritters,” is a rare evenly balanced hybrid strain (50% indica/50% sativa) created through crossing the classic Sour Apple X Animal Cookies strains. Best known for making the High Times’ 2016 “World’s Strongest Strains” List, this baby brings on a hard-hitting high and super delicious flavor that will have you begging for more after just one taste. This bud has a super sweet fruity apple flavor with a lightly cakey vanilla exhale that’s just like a delicious fresh-baked apple fritter. The aroma is very similar, with an herbal effect to it, too. The Apple Fritter high starts almost as soon as you experience your first exhale, filling your mind with a rushing lift that pushes out any negative or racing thoughts almost immediately. As your cerebral state flies higher and higher, a tingly body high will wash over you, relaxing your aching muscles and leaving you feeling totally at ease with the world around you.

In combination with its super high 22-28% average THC level, these effects give Apple Fritter an edge in treating those suffering from conditions such as insomnia, chronic pain, depression, mood swings and chronic stress. This bud has spade-shaped dark olive green nugs with deep purple undertones, vivid orange hairs and a coating of tiny white crystal trichomes. Apple Fritter combines Animal Cookies and Sour Apple, created by Lumpy’s Flowers in Northern Carolina. It’s a fine example of misleading appearances, with buds looking fairly average in color, size, and number of pistils yet boasting extremely high THC levels of up to 32%. This gave it celebrity status, making it worthy of the High Times Hall of Fame of the World’s Strongest Strains. The Apple Fritter is a multi-award-winning strain, mainly due to its strength and delicious flavor. It has a 50/50 indica-to-sativa ratio. Its unique terpene and cannabinoid profile make Apple Fritter an ideal strain (cultivar) for managing inflammation, chronic pain, and insomnia.

I dry herb vaped this in my ball vape. I’m pretty new to flower and dry herb vaping, so this knocked me on my ass. Note: I don’t smoke and have never smoked since this is for medical reasons. Compared to other strains I’ve tried, Apple Fritter (from SoL Cannabis around Reno, NV) is my favorite. It smells INCREDIBLE–my husband who hates weed came in and said it smelled like apples and oranges while I was vaping it which is crazy. It has a great taste when I vape it as well–like pine popcorn or something. I always get this beautiful euphoria when I take it. My PTSD is pretty severe, so I need help getting out of flashbacks and feeling happiness again. This strain always accomplishes that for me. I also have a dopamine deficiency (basically ADHD but a little different), and this strain brings instant relief. I stop feeling the pain of no dopamine. It doesn’t make me nauseous like other strains have, even though I was completely blasted. It felt like my body was glowing for the entirety of the high. It definitely makes me more aroused and relaxed. Every type of pleasurable sensation is magnified on it. It was a very tingly/sparkly high comparable to when I do Wyld green apple edibles.

Immediate favorite. I’ve had issues with insomnia going on 10 years now, pretty intense sleep issues longer than that. I’m 21 now and working on finding strains that might help some of the things going on with me, this strain is a workhorse in helping ease my chronic pain and sleep problems. I float into a dream filled, beautifully restful nights sleep with a hit or two of my cart. (First cart I’ve ever bought, by the way. Over the past year I’ve tried many of my friends carts, many strains… this is the only one I’ve fallen in love with.) I’m able to put my sedatives aside with this strain. One less medication is a hard thing to complain about. 😉 lovely flavor too! I’m a very smell oriented person, and it has that mouth experience of drinking tea, the aromas wafting into your nose through your mouth… UGH 🤌

I have been smoking daily for years, now I don’t mind a sativa but after work I need that indica love and Apple Fritter definitely hits the ole spot. My first time smoking this strain and for me, its going into one of those top 10 spots. LOOK: Dark green nugs with a gorgeous coating of trichomes. Almost purple in some spots with the orange hairs here and there. AROMA: An earthy, sweet and very inviting aroma of everything floral with a slight gas but give it the ole grind and your nostrils will get hit with that peppery spice with an undertone of berry and heavy earth that is sure to make your mouth water. SMOKE: Get your lungs ready, this can be a bit harsh BUT that goes away as the head high begins then waterfalls down throughout the body into a realm of complete relaxation and mental clarity. Mine came in at just under 27 percent and I was not dissappointed.

Not bad at all, relieves anxiety unbelievably and is a very powerful high. I feel both cerebral and relaxed if that makes sense. My brain is going but in a great way completely relaxed of all stress. I give it an A+

Apple fritter is a heavy hitter. The taste is very earthy and sweet. I don’t like the major coughing fit you get with it but it really knocks you on your ass. Definitely for night time use. 5 stars from me.

Apple Fritter chills without stealing the spotlight Things felt the same but I handled them differently tension melted away my stance relaxed and I stopped fiddling with every little move it hit purely on a body level solid and balanced anchoring me without dragging into lethargy or drowsiness that faint sugary note whispered by without stealing the show midway through I recalled spotting this Apple Fritter strain on Elevate-la’s site during a quick scroll though the realization faded swiftly lingering instead was a serene heavy comfort that hummed steadily neither spiking nor dropping off abruptly.

Been picking up the Paul Bunyan Apple Fritter pretty regularly and I’m really liking this strain. Stuff seriously smells and tastes like apples. The name is super accurate. I generally prefer sativas, but this stuff seems to be a great balance. Highly recommend!

This stuff is tough! Great for that stoner that has his stripes in the game. Gives you such a nice head high. I love feeling chill 🙂

This stuff makes my Os much more intense. It also makes me very philosophical. I smoked some of this before having you know what, and not only was the orgasm much better, I was having insanely deep thoughts about the meaning of life during it all. That was one hell of an experience.

One of the best strains ever. First time I smoked this stuff I was layed out for hours. Back then I was a big smoker and a heavy concentrate user and just wow I love this one. If your looking for a indicia like high with that super body load and the best part is its also super heady. Its like being in a sauna or laying in a warm bed. This strain radiates your whole body. It honestly reminds me of getting really drunk on a cold day. This strain smells like apple pie that came right out of the oven and is super sweet and tasty making you want more but be careful you will be in a kush coma for hours. To me this strain is a 60/40 indica dominate. 10/10 rating highly recommended for any type of stoner just be careful if you are sensitive. I have neurological issues and mental issues helps wonders definitely an evening smoke very relaxing. Negatives are dry mouth and eyes and can give you a headache in high doses

This was a great smoke, not very large buds but small spear shaped nugs dense and delicious as the name implies. the bud smells sweet and like tree fruit, once lit and smoked the smoke smells pungent and skunky yet sweet and kushy. great hybrid, highly recommend this strain benn smoking it all month and its great helps with all my ailments and pain and stomach problems. great for rec use as well great full body high yet with accompanying enrgy and extreme head high, love it and i’m going to miss this its the end of the bag, muah i give it a 4.5/10 great great strain love the flavor qand smell but some prefer a larger flower.
